Povědomí o biodynamickém způsobu hospodaření a míra jeho uplatnění v ČR

This diploma thesis deals with biodynamic agriculture in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part concerns the definition of organic and biodynamic farming, including the identification of their mutual differences, and also describes the development of biodynamics in the global and domestic context, including the analysis of the current state. The experimental part is made up of several outputs. The first is the characteristic of a selected biodynamic farm which includes a mapping of opinions about the farm activities among the locals. The second is the analysis of information from biodynamic farmers or otherwise interested parties about their experience and opinions on the given issue. The final output is the evaluation of the information obtained through the survey detecting the awareness about biodynamic farming among selected target groups.

The bachelor thesis deals with biodynamic agriculture. In the literature review, the work focuses on history, principles, biodynamic preparations and basic information collected from the literature. Furthermore, a certification system is described which serves to label products from biodynamic agriculture. There is an overview of biodynamic farms in the Czech Republic and neighboring countries. Part of the works is to visit a biodynamic farm and evaluate the state of production.

It focuses on the motivation for nonconventional methods of agriculture, tells the story of their business, explores and compares the different aspects that may play an important role in bringing holistic picture of Czech organic farming after 1989. Community supported agriculture in the Czech republic

Community supported agriculture is an alternative food system based on a cooperation between farmers and consumers who socially interact in a community. It was settled in the USA and spread all over the world while changing and evolving its form, although it is a grassroots movement grown from the anthroposofical background in the Europe. A couple of years ago it came to the Czech Republic and now it seeks its own individuality and circumstances which support its livelihood. Which criteria are crucial for thriving CSA in Czech is a key point of this paper.

The aim of this thesis is to define key factors influencing entering of entrepreneurial entities into organic agriculture field. In this thesis, the organic agriculture is described, its impact on employment and economy of the Czech Republic is assessed and there is the comparison between organic agriculture and conventional agriculture. The practical part is devoted to the research of entrepreneurial entities in the Czech Republic. Based on the output of this research, key factors are defined and assembled into a variety of importance.
